A MAN is critically ill in hospital after being seriously injured in an early morning street assault in St Paul's.
The 41-year-old was at the junction of Badminton Road with Ashley Road when he was approached by another man, who talked to him before attacking him.
Details of the incident, which happened at 6.45am on Easter Sunday, were revealed yesterday as police called on anyone in the area at the time to view CCTV video of both men, which can be viewed at www.avonandsomerset.police.uk
